Week In The Life

Helloo there πŸ™‚

So I have explained in previous posts that right now is my busiest time of the year. So I thought I would write a post around what a typical week looks like for me:

Monday – UGH Monday’s. Everyone hates Monday’s and I am no exception. I usually cannot get up on Monday’s, because I went to bed tooooo late on Sunday {you would think I would learn my lesson one of these days}. Anyways, I get to work and work about 12 hours before going to the gym. I usually go to the gym for just under an hour and a half andΒ I do 45 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight lifting.

Tuesday – The day after I workout, I usually have more energy so I wake up early and go into work for 14-15 hours. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are rest days, so I go home after work.

Wednesday – The day after rest days are usually difficult because my energy is not near as high. So on Wednesday’s I work about 12 hours and then head to the gym for just under an hour and a half! Again, I do 45 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight lifting.

Thursday – Like I said before, the day after I workout, I usually have more energy so I wake up early and go into work for 14-15 hours. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are rest days, so I go home after work.

Friday – FRIYAY’s are the BEST! I usually leave work early on these days, go to the gym and then spend the evening with my hubby. Friday evenings consist of relaxing and catching up on life.

Saturday – I workout with my personal trainer Saturday mornings, so I typically, get into the gym early in the morning and workout for an hour and half. Then I go into work for several hours. In the evening, my hubby and I usually go out to dinner and have a relaxing evening!

Sunday – Sunday’s are a day of rest and Β I love doing cardio on Sunday’s. If the weather permits, I will go outside for a long run through the park by our house. I love Sunday brunch and catching up with friends. The next few Sunday’s I will be working for a few hours, but I will at least be able to have brunch with friends and dinner with the hubby!

With this crazy schedule, you are probably wondering how I deal? Well, exercising is definitely one way I deal with the stress and long hours! People always ask how I find time to workout, but in truth, I don’t Β find it – I make it!

I also make sure to take 5 minute “brain” breaks during the day by doing mindless things {taking a walk, checking out social media, etc.}.

Last {and certainly the worst} I snack, on pretty much anything in my sight! Which is why I have to work out so much!! I can usually eat healthy for all my main meals, but snacks get me.

In addition, this blog helps me. It is something I enjoy doing and puts a smile on my face. What is something that helps you cope with stress? Leave a comment below!

P.S. February is literally the craziest time of the year for me! I am working 65+ hours a week & trying to maintain some sense of sanity… Am I working out as much as I want? No! Am I eating terribly? Yes! Will I get back on track? YOU BET YOUR ASS I WILL! Even if I don’t find the time to workout 4 days this week (pushing for today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), I will try better next week. If I could become a morning person overnight, I would.. but it has not happened in the last 3 years.

My goal this month {Feb} is to work out 4 days a week (I succeeded in week 1, but week 2 is proving to be difficult, as I have not stuck to my schedule above), but I will always be honest with you and share in my triumphs and not-so-triumphant moments.
